What do I get by joining the Village?


In short, what you get with your Village membership is simply opportunity to live well, and get involved as little or as much as you wish.


Social Events: weekly coffee break, weekly walks, monthly lunches, receptions in member homes, music (singing circle & concerts)


Educational Activities: museum tours, concerts, theater, movies. garden visits and a variety of lectures and programs


Wellness Programs: yoga and weekly walks, exercise buddies, and a variety of senior health lectures and programs


In-home Assistance: volunteer members who help with computers, TV or cable, cellphones, computer security and help with household chores such as changing lightbulbs or alarm batteries (pending)


Ride Assistance by volunteer members to medical appointments (pending)


Meaningful Volunteer Activities: driving a member, hosting an event presenting a program or serving on a committee


Service Providers/Contractors recommended by members


And, some shared programs with East Falls Village

Cost of Membership (payable annually):

 

Individual: $125 per year

Household: $175 per year

 

Anyone unable to pay the full membership fee may apply for an Assisted Membership by contacting the Membership Chair at 267-519-7673.
