About this event
Join us for a guided tour of Johnson House, 6306 Germantown Ave., Phila., 19144. It is one
of Philadelphia's oldest historic Underground Railroad sites. During the19th century, the House was owned by Quaker abolitionists who worked with other European & African Americans - free & enslaved - to secure safe passage to freedom along an extensive network of routes & safehouses known as the Underground Railroad.
The tour, which will last about an hour, will give you a better understanding of the brave men & women who labored for the freedom of others & the courageous decisions that were made.
A $10 admission fee is required at the door.
