About this event

It is no exaggeration to say that Iceland is like no other country on Earth. Iceland is only a five-hour flight from Philadelphia, yet few people are aware of its stunning landscapes, geological wonders and impact on global history.

Career geologist and VOR Member Mindi Snoparsky-Lammendola will use PowerPoint to present maps and photos that will explain Iceland's unique geology. Why is it unique? Iceland is where North America and Europe meet and its rocks, volcanoes, waterfalls and glaciers tell its
story.

Members and their guests must register.
Free to VOR, EFV and NWV members. Guests will pay $5 at the door.
